Hiroki Saito is a contemporary artist residing in Kanagawa, Japan. He grew up in a typical Japanese family, with his father and grandfather who worked in financial services. Going against the wind and being the first to pursue art professionally, he was the first in his lineage to embrace the world of art. He primarily works with pastels and oil paints. His works are minimalist in nature, both in the process of their creation and the techniques used, inspired by the impressionist and abstract art movements.
