TUJ Art Jiji Melvin is an artist and writer living and working in Tokyo, Japan. She was born in Kingston upon Thames, England to an American graphic designer and Scottish data engineer. At a young age, Jiji moved to McKinney, Texas and lived there until 2021. Inspired by her international upbringing, Jiji draws inspiration from world cultures, travel, language, and mythology. She is interested in the art of storytelling through various mediums.
