Rion Echigo is a UI/UX and graphic designer based in Tokyo, Japan. Her works reflect her interests in social issues and her strong problem-solving skills, developed under the guidance of Temple University Japan (TUJ)’s graphic design professor Ian Lynam. This exposure also led her to discover the mathematical intricacies of design, merging logic with visuals. As Rion explains, “Design is truly valuable only if it’s actually being used and seen by people.”
Additionally, she draws inspiration from her grandfather, Echigo Ken, an actor for TOHO. Rion’s fascination with post-modern culture and whimsical art concepts further shape her artistic vision. She aims to address Japan’s societal challenges through her art, with a focus on empowering women in entrepreneurship and making a global impact with her designs. Driven by a commitment to excellence, she seeks to effect positive change through her work.
