Artist Statement

I consider Photography as a metaphor for life. It’s full of ups and downs, challenges and rewards, disappointments and surprises. Thanks to my camera and the support of my parents, my life in photography, and my life in general has been creatively rich with lots of amazing experiences along the way.

Along my life-long journey of photography, I am ever motivated by my curiosity, sense of adventure, and desire to explore the unknown. I was a traveler long before I was a photographer. So far, I have traveled to more than 30 countries, and I’m also sure this number will increase in the future. Discovering the world has been a life-long personal journey of soul-searching and self-discovering. Recording what I see through photography has given me an increased empathy and connection to the world. I have found that I have so much in common with people of different cultures. The differences challenge me to see new possibilities within myself.
