Namba, Yusuke

Yusuke Namba, a contemporary artist, calligrapher, illustrator, was born and grew up in suburban Tokyo. He creates works based on his ordinary life. He believes that repeated everyday life accumulates and forms something more complex. His colorful paintings may be a form of resistance to his daily calligraphy which he has been learning since he was 8 years old.
